Opera Carolina returns to the stage this weekend in Charlotte. Here’s an inside look.

We’re pulling back the curtain, getting a behind-the-scenes look at The Rising and the Falling by Opera Carolina.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Sometimes when you go to the opera, it can be a little difficult to understand what’s going on.

So we’re pulling back the curtain, getting a behind-the-scenes look at The Rising and the Falling by Opera Carolina.

It tells the story of a female soldier - named Soldier. She gets hurt by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

It’s an experience that changes her.

On QC@3, we gave you a look at Soldier’s journey.

You can catch the Rising and the Falling Friday and Saturday night at the Sandra Levine Theatre at Queen’s University.
