Talking ‘National Night Out’ events in Kannapolis

The events give people a chance to get to know the officers that serve their communities and neighborhoods.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Police departments around the country are hosting events Tuesday night.

The events give people a chance to get to know the officers that serve their communities and neighborhoods.

Roughly 16,000 communities take part in National Night Out, including many here in our area.

Sherry Gordon and Officer Travis Kiser with the City of Kannapolis joined us to talk about the 38th year of the initiative.
