Young musicians rock out this weekend at Festival in the Park

The music platform amplifies the voices of other youth and youth-centered organizations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - With Charlotte’s 59th Annual Festival in the Park getting underway Friday, it’s time to start looking toward the future of rock and roll.

We Rock Charlotte is hosting the We Rock Youth Stage at the festival. It’s supported by the Infusion Fund, a partnership between the City of Charlotte, Foundation For The Carolinas, and generous donors to support the arts and cultural sector.

We Rock Charlotte uses this platform to amplify the voices of other youth and youth-centered organizations.

We got a chance to talk to program directors Brit Swider and Krystle Baller about how they’re helping to keep rock and roll thriving in the Queen City!
