Take a short adventure to Banner Elk and experience the beautiful outdoors!
Looking for a fun and easy trip close to the QC? Today Jonathan takes us to North Carolinas High Country and the timing on this one is perfect. For some it’s a couple hours drive west and for others it’s just a walk across the street, but no matter the distance Banner Elk is the place to be this 4th of July Weekend.
Know Before You Go:
- For all of the places, Jonathan mentioned, be sure to make your reservations in advance as most attractions aren’t accepting walk-ins guests.
- The popular 13-acre Wildcat Lake and Tweetsie Railroad are both closed this summer.
- As for accommodations consider renting a lodge or cabin to really get the mountain-feel.
- With appliances and cookware in many rentals, you can even save money by cooking a couple meals in your lodge or cabin.
