A New Leash On Life: Hope

Adopt don't shop!

Can you give a pet a New Leash on Life this holiday weekend? Today’s featured animal really needs your help finding a forever family – she’s been at the shelter for 703 days! Meet Hope! The Humane Society of York County tells us she was in rough shape when they first got her.
She required multiple blood transfusions, veterinary care, and some serious TLC. She went from 35 pounds to a healthy 75 over the past two years. We’re told even though she looks like a bodybuilder, she is just a sweetheart who loves cuddles, gentle kisses and a good chew toy. She’s also treat motivated and can learn quickly. Hope is an American Pit Bull Terrier and is 2 years and 8 months old. She needs to go to a house where the HOA allows pit bull type dogs. Hope also requires a family that can handle her size and strength and accommodate her need to play! The Humane society prefers she goes to a home with a yard and no other pets. If you can give Hope a forever home contact the Humane Society of York County.
