Appalachian State Students help the Catawba County Library

There’s a new partnership in Catawba County. It will give some students at Appalachian State University hands-on experience while helping the community. Siobhan Loendorf is the Assistant Library Director for the Catawba County Library System. She joined us on QC@3 to talk about the Community Navigator Program. Siobhan tells us the community navigator is one way for them to provide an opportunity for the Appalachian students of social work to have some hands-on practice. She says it’s also about helping community members get connected with all sorts of wonderful resources.
