Artist helps fill Charlotte streets with poetry display

From the creative mind of artist Luke Jerram, poems by local writers have been curated and made into a large-scale installation of poetry, ideas and statements curated and installed across multiple locations in Uptown, forming a temporary sculpture trail.

Over 200 poems were submitted, with the final selections curated by Emmy Award-winning poet Boris “Bluz” Rogers and National Poetry Slam champions Jay Ward and Jordan Bailey.

The 3D art installation display is called ‘Of Earth and Sky’ and will be available for people to see until Oct. 31.
