Catching Up With Scythian Before Their Virtual Record Release

It’s almost the weekend! Put on your dancing shoes and celebrate!

We caught up with two of the members from Scythian to talk about how the band has been during the pandemic, what kind of music we can expect from this new album and a virtual record release! The guys tell us their music is more of a feeling than a genre. They say their music is fun, a barn dance feel, and roots stomping music.

During the pandemic, 90% of Scythian’s shows have been canceled. They tell us since March, they’ve been operating in their worst-case scenario. The band realized they needed to do something, so they decided to start live streaming performances. To celebrate their newest album, the band will be hosting a Thanksgiving virtual release party. On Saturday, November 28th, you can check in to the event through YouTube Music or the band’s Facebook page!

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!

The band also performed their new song “Fire in my Heart” from their upcoming album Roots and Stones. Take a listen.
