Baseball is coming back!! Last year was a total bummer, we all missed watching the Charlotte Knights play and of course hanging out with the coolest dragon in the QC. But now, the wait is over! Yesterday, the Knights announced their 2021 schedule. Today on QC Morning, Tommy V and Homer joined us on the show to tell us more about this exciting news! Tommy tells us it’s a long time coming and they’re ready for baseball to be back. He says on April 13th the Charlotte Knights will at Truist Field for the first time in almost 600 days!
You’re probably wondering how many people will be allowed in the stands. Tommy tells us they want to make it as safe as possible. He says right now the ballpark is only allowing 7% capacity. Tommy says they’re excited to be able to have some fans in the stands and they can’t wait until everyone is allowed back in!
Meanwhile, Homer was dancing around in the background. He might be the most excited about baseball coming back!
