There was an announcement today from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. It’s moving into Phase 2 this week! Right now, only one customer is allowed inside a branch at a time. It’s to help with social distancing and keep people healthy. Now the library is getting ready to open to more people. Caitlin Moen is the Library Director and Chief Customer Officer. She joined us on QC@3 to tell us what you can expect from phase 2. Caitlin tells us they’re ready to invite people back into the doors. She tells us back in the spring they put together their version of different phases by looking at what other people are doing. Caitlin tells us one of the steps they’re taking for phase 2 are quarantining books for 4 days after they are returned. Listen to the other safety measures they’ve put into place.
