The Charlotte Auto Show runs from November 2nd to the 5th.
There’s only once a year where you get to peruse millions (yes, MILLIONS) of dollars-worth of the coolest new vehicles under one roof, and that’s at the Charlotte International Auto Show. It’s a weekend packed with the most up-to-date technology, specialists on site to answer every question you have, a low-pressure environment and plenty of family fun! Here’s a few of our favorite things about Charlotte’s ‘Greatest Show on Wheels.’
Tickets are super affordable (especially with the online discount!)
You can attend the Charlotte Auto Show for just $10 at the door. Depending on what day you go, that will include whatever special promotion they have going on as well! (See below)
But save yourself the two extra dollars and purchase your ticket online here for just $8! #savings
Free lunch on Thursday and Friday
If you plan to go anyway, why not get some free food, too? On November 2nd and 3rd from Noon to 2 p.m., every paid admission will get a ticket good for a lunch.
Pro Tip: Go early in the day for the food, then get your hand stamped to go back after work!
Test drive certain 2018 models
Four manufactures will be offering test drives – including Kia, Mazda and Toyota all weekend. Chevrolet will also have models available for test drive on Saturday and Sunday only. Drivers 18+ will be able to take certain models out for a spin while your passenger host answers questions!
Wish some of the luxury cars were available to Ride and Drive? Queen City Weekend test drove a couple of really cool Porsche’s since you can’t.
Charlotte Auto Show is very family-friendly
Not only do kids under 12 get in FREE, but they devoted a whole day to families! Sunday is Family Day; it’ll feature local mascots, face painters and even an early appearance by Santa Claus.
All the profits go to local charities and non-profits
The Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association – who produces the Auto Show each year – donates the profits to various local charities and non-profits. To date, they’ve donated more than $3 million. So you know your money is going back into the community!
