Mr. Russell’s Classroom: Chew on this experiment for a while

An experiment you can eat? We’re in! Today in Mr. Russell’s classroom, Jennifer Thompson with Engineering Camp Charlotte showed J-Stace the Science Ace how to create a tasty experiment.

Experiment: No Snag Zipline

  • Kids create a zip line system which can deliver a snack to another member of the family. This project serves as an introduction to the Engineering Design Process.

  • Yarn
  • Snacks in the aluminum bag
  • Assorted household materials (paper tubes, foam tubes, dowels, craft sticks, tape, glue, paper clips, recyclable items, paper plates)
