How do you begin a calm conversation with your co-parent on issues during a pandemic?

Putting your children first: Many child custody agreements between separated parents revolve around the flow of the school week and school year.  In many cases now, the flow of the school year is much different than it has ever been.

Does remote learning count the very same way an in-school day would?  Are new custody agreements necessary?  How do you begin a calm conversation with your co-parent to handle any concerns before entering a courtroom?
