While you may be ready to get out of the house more, your pets may not be ready for it.
Your pets are probably very pleased by the amount of extra time you and your family have been spending at home over the past couple of months. However, now that businesses and restaurants are starting to open back up, there’s a good chance you might have to spend a little more time away. Pets who had separation anxiety already might see an uptick in that behavior, and maybe pets who never had separation anxiety before might start to feel it. Two doctors, a professor and a resident at the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine, joined us on QC Morning to talk us through some of the behaviors to watch out for and how to ease your pets anxiety.
