Dietitian Shares Healthy Food Swaps For Thanksgiving

Are you looking for a few healthier options to put on your Thanksgiving table? We sat down with Alice Smith, a Registered Dietitian. She joined us on QC@3 to share a few swaps we can try. Alice tells us you can cut back on butter and sugar and substitute with maple syrup or honey and it still tastes great. She says to make sure you’re plate is colorful this year. This means adding lots of veggies. Alice says you can swap green bean casserole for roasted vegetables. Find out what other two dishes she’s swapped out for healthier options.
