Family Opens Doughnut Shop, Employs People with Disabilities

Down For Doughnuts is quickly becoming a favorite stop

A doughnut shop opened in Mooresville just about a month ago. That’s right – it opened right in the midst of the pandemic. But local dad David Cooper wanted to make his son Zachary’s dream come true. Zachary has down syndrome, and now the family is helping others with disabilities work at a place where calories don’t count.
QC@3’s Jordan Sawyers takes us to Down for Doughnuts.
