We are continuing to find out how colleges and universities in our area plan to tackle the fall semester. Yesterday, we heard from Johnson C. Smith University about the choice to be all remote. Now, we are talking to Livingstone College, which is bringing students, staff, and faculty back to campus. Dr. Anthony J. Davis is the Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Chief Operating Officer. He joined us on QC@3 to talk about why Livingstone chose this back-to-school plan. Dr. Davis tells us they were given the challenge to create a back-to-school plan that could safely bring students back on to campus and by the end of June, the plan was created. He says there are 8 protocols put in place to reduce the risks of COVID-19. Listen to what Dr. Davis says these 8 protocols are.
