Local artist lives out childhood dream and gets help from the greater creative community

Our friends Tim and Matt from Charlotte is Creative always introduce us to the most interesting people.

We met artist Melissa Wineman who lived out a childhood dream along a stretch of retaining wall on 12th Street in Charlotte.

She painted all 300 feet of the wall over 17 days into a beautiful garden.

Unfortunately, after it was finished, it was tagged with graffiti. It is what happened after that that gave us all, including Melissa, chills.
