One local author finds true self-love through writing.
Have you truly found a way to love yourself? One local author, Nicole Ayers, sat down with us today to talk about her struggles with self-love and how she finally found a way to do this by writing love letters to her body. Nicole told us writing love notes is one way to change the conversation with our bodies. She wrote to her pinky toe and her front tooth, and while it may seem silly, Nicole tells us it’s important to sweet-talk our body, instead of thinking about the negative aspects. She says to start slow and always seek help it you need it. Self-love doesn’t happen overnight, so be gentle with yourself.
