Sherelle Morrison, of Indian Land, South Carolina, is a home baker, Optometrist, and mother of two girls.
Sherelle is originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and has been practicing Optometry for ten years, the last nine in the Greater Charlotte Area.
A self-taught baker, she has always loved to bake, but focused more attention on baking when her oldest daughter was diagnosed with a peanut allergy at 18-months old.
Sherelle wanted to ensure her daughter could celebrate birthdays and other milestones safely with peanut-free cakes, so she focused on learning how to create them herself.
In the future, Sherelle would love to utilize her baking skills as an instrument for giving back to the community
We caught up with Sherelle on QC@3 and talked about her competing on the Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship. We also got a taste of some of her Halloween cupcakes.
