Look inside the new ESports Lab at Johnson C. Smith

A local ESports program is thriving, right along with the industry.
When we couldn’t attend sporting events in person, many people turned to video games and esports tournaments for entertainment.

About a year ago, Johnson C. Smith University became the first HBCU to offer a comprehensive ESports program.

The JCSU Esports club just got brand new jerseys.

The club competes in four leagues and in games like Rocket League, NBA 2K, Fortnite, Madden and Call of Duty.
