We learned today five new productions are going to start filming in North Carolina by the end of October. Three of them will be in Wilmington – but two will be in the Charlotte area.
One of those is called “A Nashville Christmas Carol”. We’re told it will be like the Charles Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol”, and tell the story of a busy film director and producer who is visited by the Ghosts of Country music past and present.
The other project being shot in our area is called “Delilah”. It is a new series from Warner Bros. Television for OWN about quote “a headstrong, highly principled lawyer in Charlotte who left a demanding white-shoe law firm a decade ago” so she could make raising her children her top priority.
Each production got approval from the state to film safely.
