The NC Live Coalition is ready to come up with a plan
From stadium concerts to smaller acoustic shows and Broadway theater performances to sporting events, the operators of North Carolina’s entertainment and event venues are eager to fill seats again. However, they want to do it safely.
That’s why those organizations across the state from Raleigh to Charlotte and Greensboro to Asheville are putting heads together to come up with the very best plan to reopen. It is being called the “NC Live Coalition” and will work with the state to discover and provide best practices.
Tom Gabbard, the CEO of Blumenthal Performing Arts, joined Kristen on QC@3 to share what issues the coalition is tackling and when he thinks we might be able to gather in entertainment venues again.
