A rare sight appears this time every year in the North Carolina mountains. And you only have a few minutes each day to catch it. We sent our Brian Stephenson all the way to Jackson County to look for The Shadow of the Bear.
The Shadow of the Bear will be visible on sunny days until mid-November. It takes just over 3 hours to get there from Charlotte. You can find the exact spot along highway 64 on Google Maps by typing in Shadow of The Bear.
