Summer cocktails at Haberdish

Cool off this summer with some cocktails from Haberdish. The restaurant in Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood is helping us serve up drinks that are sure to refresh. Haberdish’s Bar Manager Heather Hamilton stopped by QC@3 to show us the steps and shared the recipes with us below.

“Watermelon Summer High”

Description: George Dickel rye, passion fruit liqueur, watermelon, lemon, sparkling wine, crushed ice

Recipe:

1.5oz George Dickel rye

.5oz passion fruit syrup

.5oz lemon juice

.25oz Gifford passion fruit liqueur

1 oz watermelon juice

Shake then strain

Add 2oz Cava

Top with crushed ice

Garnish with dehydrated lemon wheel


“Besame” 

Altos Blanco Tequila, Gifford banana liqueur, vanilla OJ syrup, lime, berries, crushed ice

Recipe:

1 oz Altos Blanco

.5oz Vida Mezcal

.25oz banana liqueur

.5oz Vanilla OJ syrup

.5oz lime juice

2 dashes salt

Shake and strain in snifter

Add crushed ice

Garnish with fresh berries, mint spring and dehydrated lime
