You don’t want to celebrate National Chocolate Cake day with subpar cake. There are things you can do from start to finish to make your cake taste and look great. Cat Purser is a Pastry Chef at Sunflour Baking Company‘s Elizabeth location. She joined us on QC@3 with some cake baking tips. Cat says it’s important when combining ingredients, not to over mix. She also says you need to use “good” chocolate. This means finding chocolate that doesn’t have any additives in it. Cat also tells us they bake their cakes in aluminum pans. She says these pans heat very quickly.
