"Races will have no pit stops but a "halftime" where the drivers and crew chiefs will make adjustments and strategy decisions."
Next summer a different kind of racing show is coming to CBS and WBTV. They’re calling it a Superstar Racing Experience with drivers from all circuits competing in a six-race, short track series, a two-hour show on Saturday nights. Two big names in the sport are heavily involved, Hall of Famers Ray Evernham and Tony Stewart. The focus isn’t so much on technology but on good old fashioned racing. The list of drivers and the list of tracks not released yet. They’re still working on it.
It is separate from NASCAR.
