Theatre Charlotte presents “Unarmed and Dangerous”

A fire tore through Theatre Charlotte two months ago. It was devastating for the theater, which was already dealing with closures from the pandemic. But now it’s time for the comeback story. Theatre Charlotte is gearing up for a new series, starting with a piece by a local playwright called “Unarmed and Dangerous”. Breana Venablé is that playwright and she joined us alongside Chris Timmons, the Acting Executive Director of Theatre Charlotte.

Chris tells us they have a responsibility to the community. Their job is to teach people about theatre, to share new stories, and it’s also a time to heal. He says important that they get back to doing what they do best!

Listen to the FULL video to learn about why Breana decided to write “Unarmed & Dangerous”.
