Charlotte Is Creative: 3 things to bring you joy

2020 is over, thank goodness! Unfortunately, 2021 isn’t looking too great right now. So, if you’re trying to find some joy in the new year, our friends from Charlotte is Creative shared these three things with us!

#1 –  Lost Drone: A little boy in South Charlotte lost his drone on Christmas Day, on his first flight. The boy took it upon himself to make “Lost” posters and places them around his neighborhood. Charlotte is Creative shared it and Kevin Young, of the 5 & 2 Project, a drone photographer/videographer known for his amazing skyline shots, reached out to his mom and this weekend, they’re going to fly drones together.

#2 –  Conrad Ricamora: Conrad Ricamora, an actor who has been in 82 episodes of “How to Get Away with Murder” is an alumnus of Queens University. He was nominated for a grammy for his work on the Original Cast Recording of The King and I at Lincoln Center. He was in Charlotte over the holidays and posted a video of himself playing the piano in Belk Chapel.

#3 – Charlotte Art League: home to a diverse group of 29 working artists, is moving to a brand new home in May in the middle of a cool, new cultural district North of NoDa!
