UNC Charlotte Remembrance Program

Honoring the victims of deadly shooting at UNC Charlotte

To mark the one year anniversary of the deadly April 30th shooting at UNC-Charlotte, and to honor the victims, the school held a Virtual Day of Remembrance online.  It was a departure from what was originally planned, which included several public events, which was changed after coronavirus forced a stay at home order. Ahead of the event, the UNC Charlotte Student Body President, Chandler Crean joined QC Morning to share his remembrance of a dark day on campus.  He also explained how people from all over the world would come together online to mark the day.
