In the United States alone, more than six million people are living with Alzheimer’s, and more than 11 million family members and friends are acting as caregivers.
Here in North Carolina, there are more than 180,000 people living with Alzheimer’s, with more than 358,000 caregivers.
Katherine Lambert is the CEO for the Alzheimer’s Association, Western Carolina Chapter.
She joins us to talk about the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which is coming up soon.
