This coffee is helping to keep NC waterfalls clean – Here’s how

A state nonprofit is teaming up with a business in our area to create a good brew for a good cause.

Holly Bass, Associate Director and Co-Founder of Waterfall Keepers of NC, and Jotham Lipsi, Owner and Roaster of Pisgah Roasters, joined QC@3 to talk about a new special blend of coffee called “Cascade.”

The blend release is in an effort to continue both of their work to educate the public about ways they can help preserve waterfalls and get involved in the beautiful waterfalls in North Carolina.

Waterfall Keepers and Pisgah Roasters say their partnership was the perfect fit as both continue their work to give back to the local community and protect and conserve waterfalls.

The limited release coffee is a “special reserve Ethiopian roast with notes of strawberry with a smooth finish.”

Holly says visitors to parks, trails, campsites, forests, and waterfalls are skyrocketing and it’s so crucial that you know about the special ecosystems of waterfalls and how to take care of them and observe safety measures around them.

Waterfall Keepers of NC wants to keep our natural world here in North Carolina beautiful and wild for many generations to come.
