CMS Graduate Making Good Saxophone Music at Middle C Jazz

Each week Charlotte is Creative introduces us to their new best friend.

Matt Olin from Charlotte is Creative made us aware of his cool new best friend. Olin and his new friend talked to QC@3 Friday.

The friend’s name is Adrian Crutchfield. He is a saxophone player who got his first sax from Kenny G when he was just four years old.

Crutchfield told us the story on QC@3.

Crutchfield attended Northwest School of the Arts in Charlotte and then went on to graduate from Florida State University.

Crutchfield is a professional musician who has played for Lionel Ritchie, Bette Midler, and Prince.

He is performing August 14-15 at Middle C Jazz in Charlotte.

His show is entitled “Saxophonist Adrian Crutchfield Plays Kenny G”.
