Breast cancer in men is not something a lot of people are talking about, but take a look at these numbers.

The American Cancer Society predicts more than 2,600 new invasive cases of breast cancer in men this year and 530 deaths.

While the numbers may be lower than women, men have about a 4 percent greater chance of dying from the disease.

Dr. Terry Sarantou is a surgical oncologist at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute. He provided early detection practices for men.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have a list of symptoms men should watch out for and things that can increase their risk.
