Christmas is this month and that means many of you have put your Christmas tree up already, or maybe you’re going in the next few days to find the perfect tree.
According to the National Christmas Tree Association, 25 to 30 million real trees are sold every year in the United States.
How long does it take for a tree to reach the typical height of six to seven feet? The average is seven years, but it can take anywhere from four to 15 years!
There are close to 15,000 tree farms across all 50 states, including many here in North Carolina.
In fact, N.C. is one of the top states for the traditional holiday trees, both in production and sales.

Oregon is No. 1, followed by N.C., Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
