CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - There is one artist in Charlotte who has created nearly three dozen murals around the QC and some of her latest work is done with help from an artist from Australia.

Today, we learned about them and how to spot their work.

Mat Olin from Charlotte is Creative brought in mural artist Sydney Duarte and “Treazy Treaz” to learn about some of their work.

Sydney burst on the Charlotte mural scene three years ago and has done 32 different murals here.

Treazy is from Brisbane, Australia, and has been painting for 24 years. As Sydney says, “Graffiti has played a pinnacle role in his life, teaching him priceless gems about the values of freedom, friendships, and keeping an out-of-the-box state of mind. This has allowed him to travel the world extensively...”

Over the past four months, they’ve done six projects. Four in Charlotte, one in Raleigh and one in Mexico. And they have much more work together on the horizon.

Here is a link to one of their pieces in NoDa.
