CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - This morning we had a special guest stop by and chat with our QC Morning team.
Nedra Tawwab, a licensed therapist and New York Times bestselling author, gave us some insight on what healthy boundaries should look like in both the workplace and in our own personal relationships.
“The biggest issue we have about setting boundaries is being concerned about how others will receive our boundaries,” Tawwab says. “We want to preserve our relationships and sometimes to do that we keep our needs secret. We fear sharing them because of how people might respond.”
The relationship specialist published her book, “Set Boundaries, Find Peace,” in March 2021 and released an accompanying workbook in December.
