Exploring the popular Carolina Thread Trail at H.C. Nesbit Park

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Since 2007, The Carolina Thread Trail has enabled people around the region to enjoy being outdoors.

They have built hundreds of miles of trail and they plan to grow even more.

If you’d like to visit the bridge that borders the Carolinas, you can park at the H.C. Nesbit Park in the Millbridge neighborhood.

Over the next five years, the group hopes to add another 200 miles of trails.

Part of that expansion will involve the trail we just showed you in Waxhaw.

When complete, it will enable people to walk from Lancaster County, South Carolina, to Wesley Chapel, North Carolina.

They have built hundreds of miles of trail and they plan to grow even more.
