CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - As the prices of gas, food and other essentials continue to rise, the costs of weddings are no different.
An estimated 2.5 million couples are slated to get married this year, with the average cost of each wedding expected to be around $27,000.
To help reduce the costs, the Bridal Affairs’ Vanessa Huaman shared some advice with the QC Life team.
Among her tips were to avoid getting married on Saturdays, as well as during the prime wedding season. Huaman says that tying the knot on a Friday or Sunday can be a better option, as can setting a date in July/August or January/February.
She also says that choosing local sites and catering services are ways to save money.
