Dietician weighs in on Lunchables new recipes for school students

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - A new food offering will be available in public schools next fall. Kraft-Heinz has announced their famous “Lunchables” will be made available to kids in schools across America. However, they had to make some tweaks to the recipes in order to meet USDA and National School Lunch Program requirements.

Kraft-Heinz Lunchables- bento-like box filled with deli meats, crackers and other snacks offered in grocery stores since 1988- popularized by fun snacks and making your first food choices- assembling your favorite combinations.

Matthew Dengler, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Owner/Founder of RxRD Nutrition answers some questions about the changes Kraft is making.
