CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - A new, two-day music festival honoring Black music is coming to Charlotte.

The Black Notes Project will happen January 26 and 27 at the Knight Theater.

Amy Carleton, an MIT lecturer, and Michael Kitchen, founder of Sol Kitchen, are behind this inaugural event that will feature performances from local and national talent.
