CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - According to Zaverl, it is essential we keep an open mind and engage with the concept of sustainability and sustainable growth by reading about, watching, or attending local events that promote smart growth, walkability, urbanism, or strong towns.
In addition to that, he encourages us to consider the places we love most in our Queen City, ponder about why we love them and what they have in common and strive to create more places, similar to our favorite spots.
Sustain Charlotte has identified eight goals to help shape Charlotte’s sustainable future:
1 – Promote the fair and consistent application of Charlotte’s new development rules in support of a healthy, walkable, equitable, and climate-friendly city.
2 – Support the construction of a safe and connected all-ages-and-abilities bicycle network.
