CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Have you just moved into a new home but are struggling to find a design that speaks to you? If that is you, read on.
We invited Bobby Berk, ‘Queer Eye star’ and interior designer, to the show to tell us about his collaboration with Tri Pointe Homes.
After having received numerous requests from fans, asking him to design their homes, the television star decided to create his very own design collections.
With the help of Tri Pointe Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in the US, operating in 10 different states and 15 metro areas, he recently launched ten BB Edit design collections.
His designs will be showcased in Tri Pointe’s Context model homes at Oakhurst neighborhood in Charlotte, where customers will get to see the unique design collections in action, including spacious gourmet kitchens and luxurious primary suites.

Prices of these residences start in the mid $400,000s, they are composed of 2-4 bedrooms, 2.5-4 baths and 1-2 bay garages and feature a variety of styles such as Organic Modern, Classic Mid-Century, and Transitional Farmhouse.
However, if you don’t want to purchase a new house, you can easily pimp up your own home with Berk’s design ideas. He recommends taking a ‘Style Finder’ quiz to help you find the style that best fits your personality and lifestyle.
“We ask about a lot of things that really have nothing to do with design, like your dream vacation, your favorite food and sweater,” Berk said.
The TV actor added that his collections aren’t too trendy but rather have a timeless look to them. He further advised not to overthink it but to simply choose a design that makes you happy.
“Focus on the things that you can control. […] If you make your home for you, it will be for you,” Berk said.
