CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Most of us are familiar with the concept of recycling. But have you ever heard of recycled water?
Charlotte Water, Town Brewing Company and Xylem joined forces to create a unique pale ale, called ‘Renew Brew’. While the former provided the source of water and the latter contributed the necessary technologies to re-treat and re-filter it, Town Brewing created the delicious brew.
The first beer brewed with recycled QC Water was launched in February at the annual Queen City Brewers Festival, where it was crowned ‘Best in Show’ during the blind tasting competition.
