CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - “Here’s to strong women. May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them!”

We are in the midst of Women’s History Month.

And that’s why we invited Jordan Dollard with No Man’s Land and Justine Wiggins, a SkillPop instructor to the show to share the message of this festival with us and make clay figurines.

A historically male-oriented workplace, the day-long event will take place at the old Ford Building at Camp North End on Sat, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

It will feature over 100 woman-owned businesses, breakout sessions, photo opportunities, retail therapy, dancing, and a variety of workshops.

Throughout the day, attendees have the opportunity to participate in different hands-on Skillpop activities, including crafting clay trinket bowls, vision boarding & manifesting, taking better photos and self-defense classes.

Women creators, artists, entrepreneurs, and leaders are welcome to showcase their skills and products and connect with other like-minded women.

Topics in breakout discussion include but are not limited to supporting motherhood, embracing the boldness of your voice, and making adult female friends.

The festival will also feature an array of food and beverage options from several women-owned companies, such as Free Range Brewing, Black Moth Bar, Bleu Barn, and Room Service.

In addition to that, visitors are encouraged to dine at one of the countless Camp North End based restaurants.
