CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Attention, basketball fans! If you’re still looking for a place to watch the games this week, we’ve got you covered.

Whether you are supporting local teams such as UNC, NC State, Duke, Clemson or traveling to North Carolina from out of state, Resident Culture welcomes basketball fans from all across the country.

QC Life’s Jorge Andres talked to former UNC basketball player and Resident Culture co-owner Phillip McLamb about how March Madness has impacted his business so far.

“When the ACC championships are in town or when any college basketball action is happening, it’s always a big draw,” McLamb said.

In honor of the ‘Big Dance,’ Resident Culture entered into a collaboration with DraftKings Sportsbook at the beginning of March to celebrate the launch of sports betting in the state.

McLamb said as an avid basketball player himself, he is excited about the new partnership and will support his team, UNC, in the upcoming tournament.

“Carolina basketball is in my blood; it’s my passion and my love,” McLamb said.
