CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - Determined, passionate and genuine, that’s how family and friends would describe the 20-year-old musician, qualities that constitute the foundation for his quick success.
Brian Stephenson introduced us to the young up-and-coming artist.
Garrett Huffman taught himself how to play the guitar, and started writing and singing songs during the pandemic, just a little bit over four years ago.
Since then, he’s performed on stage at local restaurants, recorded his own songs at Guitar Wishes, a guitar store in Lincolnton, landed a record deal and signed with Willow Creek Guitars.
He also won the ‘Fan-voted Entertainer of the Year’ prize at the 2023 Carolina Country Music Awards and was further nominated for ‘Songwriter of the Year.’
