CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - 12-year-old Gayatri Arora has spent the better part of her life on the golf course with a club in her hands.
QC Life’s Brian Stephenson talked to Arora and Jodi Witte with ‘Woman On Course’ prior to the 10th annual Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on Sun, April 7 and the 88th Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA.
Arora said, she discovered her passion for golf at the age of and has been infatuated with the sports ever since.

According to Witte, Women on Course consists of over 60.000 members, some of which have never picked up a golf bat while some excel at the game.
“It’s a wonderful way to nurture new friendships, meet new people, network and just have fun in obviously a beautiful environment,” Witte said.
The mission of the organization is to bring more women to the game of golf and create a warm and nurturing environment for them to develop their skills and meet other like-minded individuals, according to Witte.
She further mentioned that the increased TV exposure of female players and high-profile sponsorships helped with connecting young girls with professional golfers such as Nelly Korda.
Meeting Korda on the golf course further encouraged Arora to continue to work hard and pursue her athletic goals.

“I love Nelly because of her kindness and because when she was walking down, she took the time to come all the way to the side of the fairway and take a picture of me,” Arora said.
