CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) - With Earth Week currently underway, it’s the perfect time to volunteer with Catawba Lands Conservancy.
The organization works in seven North Carolina counties to save land and connect people to nature. One of its biggest projects is the Carolina Thread Trail, which is made up of a network of trails spanning 400 miles across parts of both Carolinas.
Jennifer Clark of Catawba Lands Conservancy joined the show to talk more about the work being done and the need for volunteers.
A huge way volunteers can make an impact is by working with staff members to keep trails clean and in good shape.
