CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC LIFE) - SHRED Charlotte is returning for its 12th year and hoping to be its biggest yet.
The event is now a skate deck art show. It started as a skateboard event to help a local family whose son was dealing with spina bifida. Now, it’s an art event that benefits more than a dozen families.
Throughout the last 12 years, SHRED has raised more than $175,000.
